Celebrating 15+ years
at the wheel!
It all started with a birthday gift at my 10th birthday party. My mom got me ceramics lessons and I’ve been in love with the art ever since. It became such a passion that I pursued it in college, earning a BFA from Indiana State University, and residency at Guldagergaard in Denmark, where I pursued specialized training in wood and wood soda atmospheric firings. These firings are usually more communal in nature, and the effects they produce are beautiful.
From the Earth, for the home.
Right now my favorite things to create are pipes and planters. Both are inspired by my love of nature and hiking—I’ve always enjoyed being outside, but with chronic illness, sometimes it’s hard to get out there. Through ceramics I’m able to bring that nature indoors and express it through my work.
I dogsit and manage firework performances professionally. 🧨
When I’m not in the studio I’m with my dog Daisy and my cat Raven. I wouldn’t trade their snuggles for the world.
